Winter is here which means cosy nights in front of the fire before I hit the hay! I can’t wait to arrive home after a long day to chill out #HelloFrontDoor. Most evenings I’ll be found with a glass of red in one hand and dipping into nibbles with the other. Does it get any better?
The perfect way to unwind is with Gallo, which has long been a personal favourite of mine. In 1933, brothers Ernest and Julio Gallo founded a winery in California with nothing but a love of wine and a lot of determination. They wanted to produce great tasting wines for everyday moments that everyone could enjoy.
The Merlot, in particular, is bursting with fruity flavour, really smooth and easy to drink. The rich red flavour matches perfectly with pasta and grilled meat dishes (which is a great excuse for me to start cooking up something tasty!).
